Spring Look using High Street Make Up

This is the first of my Friday posts that will feature a new look each week. Given that this week has given us a spring in our steps with the lovely appearance of the sun, I thought it was appropriate to start with a Spring Look that was done with make up available on the High Street. The model was my beautiful sister in law, Lucy and we literally combined our make up bags and used what we had. (I was over in the UK, so had very little with me).

FACE

Foundation – Rimmel Match Perfection – mixed shade 100 with 200 – I combined both shades to create exactly the right shade for Lucy’s skin
Concealer – Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer ‘010 Ivory’ – used this under the eyes, around the nose to conceal any redness, down the nose and on the brow bone and blended
Bronzer – MUA Bronzed Perfection – used this through the hollows of the cheeks, around the temples and any high points on the face where the sun would catch your face
Highligher – Sleek Face Contour Kit Highlighter – applied to the tops of the cheek bones, the cupids bow, down the nose and on the brow bone
Blush – MUA Blusher in ‘Lolly’ – applied to the apples of the cheeks and blended upwards towards the ears
Powder – Rimmel Stay Matte Powder on ‘001 Transparent’ – only applied to the T Zone where there might be some shine throughout the day

EYES

Eye shadow – MUA Bronzed Perfection and Sleek Face Contour Kit Highlighter – the bronzer was applied all over the lid up to the crease and blended in as well as swept under the eye. I then applied the Highlighter from the Sleek Face Contour Kit all over the top of the bronzer to give a lovely soft looking shimmer.
Eyeliner – Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Eyeliner in Black – along the lash line and out for a feline flick
Mascara – L’Oreal Mega Volume Miss Manga – on both top and bottom lashes
Eyelashes – Eyelure Girls Aloud lashes in ‘Kimberley’

LIPS

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in ‘Juicy Papaya’
Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss in ‘Bellini’

Would you wear this make up? What are your thoughts? What other looks would you like to see?

Hope you have a lovely weekend and thanks for reading.
